Virtual Reality Glasses for the PC
There are several types of virtual reality glasses which are designed to be used with different systems. These include the PC, Mac and PS3 (Playstation 3) console.
These glasses are mainly worn for gaming, for example World of Warcraft.
There are two types of glasses – wired and wireless - which work with all types of monitors and are designed to enhance the gaming experience. But they are also used by PC users for their semi-immersive qualities and the chance to experience a virtual environment at an affordable price.
But these glasses provide a static image only. They do not contain a tracking device which means that they cannot be considered a true virtual reality device.
However, for many people this is the only way they will experience virtual reality unless they have the finances to pay for an immersive session in a CAVE virtual reality system.
