Currently in development, but VRELIA say that their BlueSky Pro’s screen and optics design all but eliminates the immersion-breaking screen door effect, providing a more convincing image.

The BlueSky Pro is an upcoming HMD with integrated headphones, a rigid headband and very liberal use of the color blue.
The HMD is a product of Immersion VRELIA, a Spanish company, although they also have a Silicon Valley address.
The BlueSky Pro doesn’t look all that different from market leaders like the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive. Although one thing that jumps out at you immediate is how tall the shell is at the front.
That’s because the Pro uses two 1080p panels in portrait mode to serve each eye. The more common technique is to split a single panel or have two smaller panels in landscape mode. What advantages this brings is currently unclear, but the Pro does claim a healthy 123-degree field of view.
VRELIA say that their screen and optics design all but eliminates the immersion-breaking screen door effect, providing a more convincing image.
The Pro is also rugged with liberal use of rubber and stiffened components. Which is why they offer more comprehensive warranties.
The current version doesn’t seem to make use of external camera sensors, but the”G2” model is slated to used precise camera external sensors.
The Pro was meant to be in the Beta phase in January of 2015, but it is unclear whether the project is still on track at the time of writing.
Although there is no explicit indication of this, it seems that the Pro may be aimed at commercial VR installations instead of being sold at retail to individual customers.
