Virtual Reality Glasses for the Mac

There have been developments in virtual reality to bring this technology to people at an affordable price. For example there are virtual reality glasses which are designed for PC users as well as gamers but will there be a Mac version?

There have been rumours that Apple is conducting research into virtual reality glasses or headsets which have been mentioned on various games/tech forums.

But whether this is the case remains to be seen.

According to an article posted in 2011 on 3D Focus, Sony is undertaking research into a virtual reality headset known as the ‘Sony Headman’ which will provide a three dimensional experience. But this research is at the prototype stage only.

However, virtual worlds such as Second Life are available on the Mac as well as Windows and Linux so maybe there will be more developments in the area of VR and the Mac.
